Racial reconciliation isn’t just a social issue, it’s a Gospel issue.
As a follower of Jesus, I believe the Church is called to be a place of healing, equity, and radical belonging. But too often, the Church has been silent in the face of injustice or complicit in systems that divide.
My work in this space is rooted in deep heartbreak and deeper hope, hope that the Body of Christ can be a witness to the reconciling love of Jesus in a divided world. As a white woman raising bi-racial sons and someone finishing a Master’s in Theology and Social Justice, I carry both personal and theological conviction that this work matters, not as a trend, but as a reflection of God’s heart.
If you’ve ever wondered how to faithfully engage conversations about race, identity, and justice without fear or defensiveness, you’re not alone. This is holy, often uncomfortable work but it’s the kind of work that draws us closer to Jesus and to each other.
