Where faith meets
healing and justice

welcome!

I’m Kristen, a trauma-informed theologian and social justice advocate, passionate about walking alongside women to love courageously, embody Jesus, and heal the world.

If you wrestle with reconciling Jesus with the church, you’re not alone. This space is for Christian women navigating the tension between what they’ve always believed and what they’re beginning to see, those asking brave questions about justice, faith, and how to follow Jesus with integrity.

Together, we’ll explore biblical social justice, not as politics, but as a living reflection of Jesus. We’ll wrestle with theology, unpack biases, and pursue a more compassionate, courageous faith, even when the journey stretches our certainty, our relationships, and our hearts.

Grab your drink of choice (mine’s the chemical Diet Coke, which I am constantly trying to quit), and let’s journey together.

So glad you’re here.

The Heart Behind This Work

I know what it feels like to love Jesus deeply and still wonder if there’s something missing, especially when what you’ve been taught doesn’t align with the ache you feel for justice, equity, and truth.

If you’re starting to question long-held beliefs, if you feel the tension between your evangelical upbringing and the call to love more boldly and live more justly, you’re not alone, and you’re not losing your faith. You’re finding it.

Through my courses, conversations, and coaching, I walk with Christian women like you as you name what no longer fits, grieve what you’ve outgrown, and take courageous steps toward a more honest, justice-rooted way of following Jesus. This isn’t about burning it all down, it’s about making space for what’s always been true.

Here, holy disruption becomes a path to wholeness. We flip the tables, hold the tension, and follow Jesus toward a faith made strong by love and truth.

the tension
 is where we
 begin

Beneath the surface, so many carry quiet pain. Too often, we fail to hear those on the margins, the ones the world overlooks, and sometimes, so do we.

It’s easy to turn away from pain that doesn’t look like ours.
But here, we choose another way. We listen. We linger. We make space for stories long silenced. We wrestle with the hard questions of faith and justice, navigating the tension with clarity, courage, and purpose.

This is a space for women becoming brave enough to feel, bold enough to act, faithful enough to hope.

the tension
 is holy ground

The space between comfort and courage, the tension we feel is sacred. It’s where Jesus meets us,

calling us to more than hesitation or fear.

This is the place where transformation begins,
where listening becomes action,

and faith becomes boldness.

We don’t stop at the tension—we step into it,
following Jesus’ call to live

with clarity, courage, and purpose.

begins in courage and moves toward
 justice

The holy ground of tension is not where we stop, it’s where the work begins. Rooted in deep commitment, we refuse to stay stuck in discomfort or fear.

Instead, we step forward with intention, knowing that true healing and justice require courage, persistence, and bold action.

This is the call to live out what Jesus asked of us,
to transform listening into service, compassion into change,
and belief into bold, healing justice for all.

The Podcast

Jesus, justice
+ mercy

Welcome to Jesus, Justice & Mercy — a podcast for Christians who sense that justice matters but feel the tension between Jesus and much of what they see practiced in the church.

If you’re wrestling with inherited faith, questions that don’t have easy answers, or the growing gap between the Gospel and the world we’re navigating, you’re not alone.

I’m your host, Kristen Brock, rooted in the church and committed to following Jesus with honesty, courage, and compassion. Each season, we engage Scripture, history, and lived experience to explore the intersections of faith, justice, and discipleship. We talk about race, trauma, power, civic responsibility, and the ways faith has been both a source of harm and a force for healing.

Whether you’re deconstructing, rebuilding, or simply learning to ask better questions, this is a space for thoughtful reflection, faithful wrestling, and a faith shaped by justice, deeply rooted in Scripture.

How do we embody healing, justice,
and faith? Breathing in grace and breathing out love and mercy.

To know whose land you are inhabiting just text your zip code or your city and state (separated by a comma)

to (907) 312-5085 and the bot will respond with the names of the Native lands that correspond to that region.
